The classic at the heart of Early Rider. In 2005, we set out to inspire adventure and counter the growing screen-obsessed culture among kids. We imagined our boys riding off with a bedroll strapped to their bike, leaving behind those glued to indoor video games.

What we discovered, however, was a design whose function was even more important than its intended statement. We might as well have called it an Easy Rider.

Its slightly longer wheelbase provides stability, and the slackened head tube keeps the bike on course during wobbles. The short but wide rear tire ensures a low seat height and center of gravity, making balancing easy—even for the youngest riders.

The Early Rider Superply Classic 14″ offers independent mobility faster than any other we make. Its larger frame and free-rolling 14″ front wheel also make it ideal for growing explorers venturing farther. Thanks to our durable SuperPly construction, it will withstand countless adventures and still be wall-worthy when the journeys end.
